Description

The end-of-life journey can be complex and challenging, often filled with misconceptions and difficult questions. To help individuals and families better understand the many options and resources available, we invite you to join us for an informative panel discussion designed to provide clarity, guidance, and support during these important conversations. This event will feature a distinguished panel of professionals who bring a wealth of knowledge and experience on this topic: Dr. Sabnam, JMH Palliative Care – Understanding Palliative Care and Advance Care Directives, and how early planning can improve quality of life. Paul Henry Salazar, Aura Hospice – Hospice Benefits under Medicare Guidelines, clarifying eligibility and coverage. Jennifer Perez, Bristol Hospice – Bright Moments Dementia Hospice Program, focusing on compassionate care for those living with memory loss. Kati Knox, Grace & Glory Hospice – Coping with Loneliness and Grief, and the need for emotional and spiritual support. Andrew Holland, East Bay Hospice – The California End of Life Option Act (2016), explaining the legal framework and safeguards surrounding this important choice. A Zoom option will be available upon registration.
