Description

A new program, ‘The Art of Meditation,’ will be presented by the Sonoma Shambhala Center on the 2nd Saturday of every month beginning March 8th from 9:30-10:30 am. Registration is not required. These one-hour programs are designed to be an enriching experience for people who are new to meditation, as well as those who already have a meditation practice. They will include instructions on mindfulness meditation with time for practice and discussion. The Shambhala Meditation Center has been offering free meditation sessions for over 30 years. Here are a couple comments from participants: 'The Sonoma Shambhala Meditation Center has been a warm and welcoming place for many years in Sonoma for people from all walks of life to learn meditation techniques and explore mindfulness together.' --Diana Sanson “Meditation practice has opened my mind and heart to the possibility of staying with whatever arises, from within and without.” --Janet Constantino The Sonoma Shambhala Center is located at 255 West Napa Street.
